Watch me grow session: Reagan Elizabeth Lupi & The Payne Family

This is my second time capturing these two families. They are wonderful and faithful clients and even surprised me with a few gifts for making the 2 hr trip to photograph their families.  Moments like that warm my heart not because of material gifts but the sense of appreciation and joy the photographs bring to their lives. Cadence is growing and growing (along with Madison) and Reagan is still very new. Both of Jenn's girls are such good little ladies! Here are some of my favorite images. . .

Jedediah and Kelly Kimball: Wedding

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of capturing a Naz Alumni's wedding in Utica and Rome, NY. There is nothing more enjoyable than doing anything connected to Nazareth, a place and a group of people I hold so fondly and close to my heart. Kelly couldnt have had a more perfect day. Sun was shining yet cool; perfection.

Meeting the family sets the stage for the day and Karen and I were lucky enough to be welcomed into Kelly's family home with open arms. They were so warm, appreciative, and relaxed.

Kelly had a beautiful Catholic ceremony in a spectacular church in Utica followed by her reception at the Delta Lake Inn. She chose really fun after ceremony locations for us. This is a photographer's dream when clients are willing to play along! There's nothing more exciting than feeling in your bones that you're creating fun and beautiful photographs. We used an old train station and a library which afforded us really fun backdrops and added a lot of dimension to what can be traditional bridal party shots. I think everyone had a really good time. Its always my goal to take photographs that are natural and evoke natural emotions.

My favorite photographs that happen during a wedding cermony and reception are the moments that happen between moments. They are: wiping away tears after walking down the aisle to see your future husband waiting for you or an emotional father/daughter dance. This wedding was full of those moments...

I am enjoying the editing process. They were a beautiful and fun couple (and family) to capture which only makes my job feel anything but that.

I am so thankful for my Nazareth roommate and lifelong friend, Karen, who makes the trip memorable and fun with her goofy roadtrip music and her encouragement and support of my photography! What a girl. Couldnt do this without her.

Here are some of my favorite images so far. . .
